BEEF BURGUNDY 
5 lb. round steak
Flour
Oil
2 cloves garlic
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1 bay leaf
Basil
1 c. wine
Water

Cut meat into bite-size pieces. Shake in flour. Add crushed garlic in hot oil (1/2 inch). Brown meat in oil. Drain. Place in casserole. Add water. Meat should be almost covered with water. Thicken slightly with gravy mix and heated in meat pan. Add bay leaf, pinch of basil and wine. Cover. Bake at 200 degrees for 4 hours or more if desired.
