SPAGHETTI CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1/4 lb. spaghetti, broken 3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. chopped celery 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. minced onion 3 tbsp. flour 1 lb. can tomatoes 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese Cook spaghetti to make 2 cups. In butter, saute the celery, green pepper, and onion. Stir in flour; add tomatoes, salt, and pepper, sugar and cheese, stirring until melted. Add spaghetti and turn into a 1 1/2 quart greased casserole dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until brown. May add 4 frankfurters, sliced, along with spaghetti. Serves 4-6. |
