DANISH PUFF PASTRY | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. water Mix above ingredients like pie crust. Roll into ball. Divide and make 2 strips on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. 1 c. water 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 c. flour 3 eggs Mix butter with water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add flavoring. Beat in flour quickly to prevent lumps. When mixture is smooth, add 1 egg at a time. Beat well, divide and spread on top of crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost when hot with powdered sugar and water mixed to frosting consistency. |
