SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE (GRANDMA'S) | |
2 block butter 3 c. sugar 3 c. flour (Ballard's Plain) sifted 6 eggs 1/2 pt. sour cream 1/4 tsp. baking soda (sifted with flour) Pinch of salt 3 or 4 tbsp. lemon extract Cream butter and sugar, alternate adding eggs and flour. Add sour cream, add extract. Bake 1 hour and 20 or 30 minutes at 325 degrees in greased tube pan with paper. |
