GLAZED HAM | |
5 - 7 lb. fully cooked ham Honey Ham Glaze (recipe follows) Place ham fat side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer so tip is in center of thickest part of meat and does not touch bone or rest in fat. Roast uncovered in 325 degree oven until meat thermometer registers 140 degrees, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. About 30 minutes before ham is done, remove from oven and cut surface 1/4 inch deep in diamond pattern. Insert whole clove in each diamond if desired. Spoon Honey Ham Glaze onto ham every 10 minutes. Makes 10 servings, 430 calories per serving. HONEY HAM GLAZE: 1/4 c. honey 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. ground cloves or ginger Mix all ingredients. |
