REFRIGERATOR PICKLES 
1 gallon thinly sliced pickles (cucumbers)
1 big onion, sliced thin

Put in bowl and mix 1/3 cup salt (with hands) into cucumbers and onions. Cover with cold water. Sit for 2 hours. Drain in colander and press with hands to remove water. Put in 2 cups sugar and 1 cup vinegar. Put in jars. Seal and refrigerate. Very good.
