CRUMB-TOPPED TOMATOES 
2 lg. tomatoes
2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. dried basil, oregano or thyme, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
Dash garlic or onion salt

Or 1 tablespoon snipped parsley or chives.

Remove stem and core from tomatoes. Halve crosswise, place out side up in an 8"x8"x2" baking dish. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, butter, herbs, pepper and salt. Sprinkle atop tomatoes. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through.
