BASIC ROLL MIXTURE | |
2 potatoes 2 cakes or 2 pkgs. yeast 1 stick butter 2 tsp. salt 10 c. flour 4 c. water 3/4 c. sugar 3 eggs Cook peeled potatoes in water until done. Save water. Run potatoes through strainer or use blender. Add butter to hot potato water and melt. When lukewarm, add yeast which has been softened in warm water. Add beaten eggs, sugar and salt, then add and work in flour. |
