BASIC ROLLS 
2 pkgs. yeast softened in 1/4 c. lukewarm water (about 110 degrees)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
2 beaten eggs
3 c. flour

Put sugar, salt, butter and scalded milk in a large bowl. Add eggs. When lukewarm, add the yeast mixture. Add 3 cups of flour. Beat well. Add 3 more cups of flour; turn dough on a lightly floured board, knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise until double in bulk. Shape into rolls. Bake in moderate oven, 375 degrees until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Baking time depends on your oven.
