LENTEN PRETZELS 
4 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 egg

Combine yeast and warm water. Add egg to flour, sugar and salt. Add to yeast and water. Knead until elastic. Pinch off pieces, roll. Shape into pretzels, place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with water and salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
