LENTEN OKRA BEMI BI ZEIT | |
1 lb. small okra 1/2 c. oil 2 cloves garlic 8 sm. peeled onions 1 c. tomatoes 1 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. kisibra ground coriander 1 tbsp. oil 1 clove garlic, mashed 2 tsp. lemon juice Wash okra, remove stems. Fry in oil, remove and reserve. In the same pan fry onions and 2 cloves of garlic. Add tomatoes, water, salt, and pepper. Simmer and add okra. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Fry kisibra in 1 tablespoon oil and pour over top of okra with lemon juice and 1 clove garlic, mashed. Stir gently to mix. |
