OVEN "FRIED" SCALLOPS 
1 lb. scallops
1 egg (or egg substitute)
2 tbsp. cooking oil
6 tbsp. plain or seasoned bread crumbs
Paprika to taste
Lemon juice to taste

Fork blend egg and oil together. Roll scallops in egg mixture and in bread crumbs. Place scallops in a single layer on a cookie sheet which has been sprayed with vegetable oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes (depending on size of scallops) without turning.
