NOODLES WITH BREAD CRUMBS,
PARMESAN
 
8 oz. wide or med. egg noodles
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. olive oil
1 lg. clove garlic, put through a garlic press
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. plain, dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles as package directs. While noodles are cooking, melt butter with oil in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and water; cook, stirring until hot.

Remove form heat and slowly add bread crumbs and cheese, stirring with a wire whisk. Drain noodles; combine with bread crumb mixture in a warm serving bowl and serve immediately.
