GOLDEN CRUST BREAD | |
1 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. hot water 1 cake yeast 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 2 tbsp. melted fat 6 1/4 c. flour Combine sour cream and soda, add water, yeast, sugar, salt and fat, gradually add flour. Mix until well blended, knead 5 to 8 minutes. Allow to raise double in bulk in warm place. Shape into two loaves. Allow to raise double. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. |
