GOODY BARS 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. dark syrup
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
6 c. corn flakes
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine sugar and syrup. Cook to a rolling boil, remove from heat and add peanut butter. Put cornflakes in a large bowl and add mixture, fold together. Then press into a large shallow cookie sheet.

Melt chocolate chips, spread over bars and cool. Cut into squares. Makes 4 dozen.
