HAMBURGER HOT DISH 
1 or more lb. ground beef
1/2 c. raw rice
1 can mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken (or chicken rice) soup
1 c. water
1 onion, finely chopped
1 c. celery, diced
2 or 3 tbsp. soy sauce
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown the hamburger, onions and celery in oil or butter. Add raw rice, soups and water, also soy sauce and other desired seasonings. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, stirring after the first half hour. Chinese noodle or crushed chips may be spread over top of hot dish.
