SAUSAGE STUFFED MUSHROOMS | |
1 1/2 lb. medium mushrooms 1/2 lb. pork sausage 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs Clean mushrooms, remove stems and chop fine. In 10 inch skillet cook sausage until well browned, drain. Save 2 tablespoons drippings. Cook chopped stems in drippings, add sausage, cheese, and crumbs. Stuff mushrooms with filling. Bake 15 minutes in 450 degree oven. May be prepared ahead, refrigerated, and baked layer. |
