CORN FLAKE CHICKEN | |
2 c. corn flakes 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 8 chicken drumsticks Turn oven to 375 degrees. Put corn flakes in plastic bag and close tightly. Crush corn flakes and put into pie plate. Put butter into skillet and melt on low heat. When melted, turn off heat. Move skillet off burner. Stir in salt and pepper until well mixed. Rinse drumsticks under cold water; pat dry with paper towels. Place on plate or waxed paper. Brush chicken with melted butter on all sides. Roll each piece in crumbs until coated. Put drumsticks in baking pan (13 x 9 x 2 inch). Be sure pieces don't touch each other. If any butter is left, pour it over the chicken. Carefully put pan in oven. Bake for 50 minutes. Chicken is done when it is easy to poke with a fork. Turn oven off. Use hot pads to remove pan from oven. Serves 4. Enjoy! |
