SUN DILL PICKLES | |
Put cucumbers in gallon jar with dill and garlic in bottom and top. Make brine from 1 gallon hot water, 1 cup canning salt, 1 1/2 cup dark vinegar, 1 teaspoon alum, and 1 teaspoon turmeric. Pour over cucumbers and set in sun for 3 days, then store in refrigerator. |
