PORK CHOPS & POTATO COMBO 
6 to 8 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1 (10 oz.) pkg. or can French-style green beans
1 pkg. scalloped potatoes
2 tbsp. butter
1 (10 oz.) can cream of celery soup
2/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Put shortening in skillet and cook pork chops until brown; sprinkle with salt. Heat water to boiling in large saucepan. Stir in all other ingredients; heat to boiling. Pour mixture into ungreased baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Place pork chops on top and cover securely with aluminum foil. Bake 1 hour. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.

Discard package of flavoring received in the box with scalloped potatoes.
