1 3/4 c. sugar 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla Dash of salt 1/4 lb. marshmallows (about 22 lg.), quartered 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits In heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter and salt. Bring to boil over medium heat; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Stir until completely melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread into buttered 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool. Cut into squares. |
