PICKLED BEANS 
5 cans Delmonte Blue Lake string beans
2 onions
1/2 c. water
1 c. cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salad oil

Drain beans, layer with onion rings. In a 2 quart jar mix water, vinegar, sugar and oil. Heat to boiling until sugar dissolves. Pour over beans. Let stand 24 hours.
