BUTTER SWEET COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter, add sugar, salt and vanilla. Cream well, gradually add flour. Shape by teaspoonful into balls. Refrigerate dough if it is sticky before shaping. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press hole in the center before baking.

CREAMY NUT FILLING: Soften 3 ounce package cream cheese. Blend in 1 cup confectioners' sugar, 2 teaspoons flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla and cream well. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts and 1/2 cup coconut. Put mixture in center of cookies while they are still warm.

Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until delicately brown.

Yield: about 36 cookies.
