CHOCOLATE ALMOND COOKIES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. butter
2/3 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
Ground almonds

Combine cream cheese, butter, sugar, and extract. Mix well until blended. Add flour and blend well. Chill at least 5 hours. Shape level tablespoonfuls of dough into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Coo. Dip each cookie in chocolate, then coat with almonds.
