GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
2 qt. chopped green tomatoes
2 green peppers, chopped
2 c. chopped onions
1 pt. pickling vinegar
1/4 c. salt
3 c. sugar
1 box pickling spices

Put pickling spices into a small bag, mix all ingredients and put with the spice bag into a 6 quart Dutch oven. Bring to boiling point. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove spice bag.

Put into jars while hot. Jars need not be sterilized, but should be washed in the dishwasher just before filling.
