GREEN TOMATO (SWEET) RELISH 
8 qts. green tomatoes
1 med. cabbage, grind
6 onions, grind
3 lg. red bell peppers
2 lg. green peppers
8 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp. whole cloves
1/2 c. salt
3 qts. dark vinegar

Chop tomatoes quite fine. Add 1/2 cup salt and let stand overnight. Drain and add cabbage. Boil in 3 quarts dark vinegar for 30 minutes. Add ground onions and peppers. Add sugar, celery seed and mustard seed. Tie cloves and broken cinnamon stick in small cloth bag. Cook all together or until cabbage is tender and appears clean. Pack in sterilized jars and seal.
