CRANBERRY PIE 
1 lb. cranberries
3/4 c. raisins
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cold water
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
Pie crust

Plump up raisins by pouring hot water over them, and coarse grind the cranberries. Combine salt, sugar and flour. Mix dry ingredients with cranberries, raisins, orange rind and water. Pour into 9 inch pie pan lined with 1/8 inch thick bottom crust. Cover with dough of similar thickness.

Bake 15 minutes in preheated 450 degree oven, then lower to 375 degree and bake for 30 minutes. Serve cold. Pie can also be made deep dish style.
