PEACH CAKE | |
2 eggs (slightly beaten) 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 lg. can peaches (drained and chopped) 2 c. self-rising flour 1 stick butter 1/2 c. peach syrup Beat eggs then add other ingredients. Stir until well blended. Pour batter into a 9x13 pan. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with Cream Sauce. CREAM SAUCE: 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. evaporated milk 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla Combine and cook until mixture coats a spoon (about 5 minutes). Pour over cake while still hot. Neta Hunt |
