PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained well (pineapple only)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped fine

Mix in order given and sift dry ingredients before mixing together. Drop on cookie sheets, about 1 teaspoon for each cookie. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
