SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN 
Chicken breasts, cut into cutlets (may sub. shrimp)
Oil for frying
Pinch of garlic powder

BATTER:

1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. flour
Pepper

SAUCE:

2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. pineapple juice (drained from can)
1/3-1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. pineapple chunks

Mix batter ingredients. Dredge chicken in batter. Fry in oil 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Mix sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, vinegar and soy sauce; set aside.

Heat oil with garlic powder. Add ketchup mixture and heat to boiling while stirring. Add pineapple chunks and chicken to pan, heat through.
