JUBILANT CHICKEN | |
1 frying chicken (3-3 1/2 lb.) cut up 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 c. chili sauce 1/2 bottle (8 oz.) Sweet & Sour Sauce 1 green pepper, slivered 1 med. onion, cut into rings 1/2 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained Place chicken, skin side up, in lightly oiled, baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Pour melted butter over pieces. Bake at 325 degrees at about 30 minutes until browned. Meanwhile, combine chili sauce and sweet & sour sauce, mixing well. Pour over chicken. Top with green pepper, onion rings and sliced peaches. Continue baking chicken 45 minutes longer or until done. Makes 4 servings. Good with buttered rice and lettuce and tomato salad. |
