CHINESE SHOYO CHICKEN 
3/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. minced ginger
3 cloves garlic, crushed
4 green onions, chopped
2 tbsp. sherry
3 lb. chicken
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Combine first 9 ingredients and boil together 2 minutes. Add chicken and simmer 40 minutes. Remove chicken and strain the mixture.

Mix cornstarch and water and add to shoyo mixture to thicken it. Pour over chicken and serve with rice.
