WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 pt. fruit mix
1 can pineapple, candied
1 pt. apple jelly
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
2 cans coconut
1/2 pt. candied cherries
5 c. mixed nuts
1 c. orange juice

Cream butter, sugar and salt together. Add eggs and cream together. Add coconut, jelly, juice and cream.

Sift baking powder and flour. Put into a paper bag with fruit mix. Pour this floured mixture into the batter and mix well. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours or longer.

Line bottom of pan with brown paper and grease well. Use 2 pans or 1 pan and several cupcake pans. Divide batter half and half.

This recipe is around 100 years old. It is the best cake I have ever eaten.
