SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 pie shell, baked
1 1/2 c. raisins steamed in 1 c. water until plump; do not drain
2 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. vinegar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks

Mix together sugar, flour, salt and spices. Add to raisin and milk mixture. Beat 3 egg yolks and add to rest gradually. Cook on medium heat until thick. Pour into baked shell. Top with meringue.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar
No salt (will make it weep)

Beat until stiff. Brown at 385 degrees.
