Served on Christmas Eve at the Southerland-Dickey get together at the Southerland home.

3 oranges
3 lemons
1 oz. cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp. all spice
1 1/3 qts. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 gallon sweet apple juice or cider

Slice oranges and lemons. Place spices in sauce pan with water and sugar. Bring to boil and simmer. Add apple juice and heat to almost boiling point. Serve very hot. (May use large coffee urn to keep warm.)
