HOT WASSAIL 
4 spice (orange) tea bags
1 gal. cider
2 qts. orange juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. cranberry juice
4 cinnamon sticks
1/2 c. candy hearts
12 whole cloves

Pour 1 quart boiling water over 4 spice (orange) tea bags. Steep for 4 minutes. In large pot, combine tea with cider, orange juice, cranberry juice and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Then add: cinnamon sticks, candy hearts and cloves. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove cloves before serving. Makes 2 gallons. (Option: put 12 cloves in a whole orange and add to pot.)
