APPLE CRISP 
6 to 8 apples (I use Granny Smiths)
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. flour
4 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (pudding included in mix)
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Peel and slice apples into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Fill 1/2 full. Add 1 1/2 cups of sugar mixed with 1/2 cup of flour. Dot with 4 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. It should be light brown in color when done. Then sprinkle over apples: 1 package yellow cake mix. Top with 1 1/2 cups of chopped nuts. Cover with 1 1/3 cups of melted butter. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake for 1 hour.
