APPLE BLOSSOM CAKE 
1 1/3 c.vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. chopped unpeeled apples
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. raisins, rinsed in hot water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together oil and sugar. Add eggs and apples and mix well. Sift all dry ingredients together and stir in. Add vanilla. Blend in raisins. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool on rack.

FROSTING:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
Cream or evaporated milk

Mix to desired consistency.
