POLISH NOODLES AND CABBAGE 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 c. chopped or thinly sliced cabbage
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
1/2 c. sour cream (opt.)

Melt the butter in large skillet, add onion and saute until transparent. Add cabbage and cook for about 5 minutes, tender but crisp. Stir in seeds, salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook noodles until tender. Don't over cook. Drain well. Stir noodles into cabbage, add sour cream. Cook 5 minutes more, stir often. I add dill weed to this most times too, to taste. I don't use sour cream.
