GOLDEN WESTERNER CAKE | |
3 sticks butter, room temp. 1 pkg. powdered sugar 6 eggs, room temp. 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/8 tsp. mace 1 sugar carton full of sifted flour Cream butter, add sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well after each 1. Add flavorings and mix well. Add flour gradually, mixing well after each addition. Bake in a 10 inch greased and floured tube or bundt pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. (Test at 1 1/4 hours.) Cool 4 minutes, then invert pan and remove cake. |
