TERIYAKI FLANK STEAK 
1 piece flank steak
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sake or mirin
1 tsp. MSG
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tsp. fresh ginger, grated (optional)

Cut steak into diagonal cubes. Combine all ingredients and marinate for 1 hour or more. Coat each piece of mixture of 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal. Fry in pan with 1 tablespoon oil. Drain on paper towel.
