MARY CHRISTINE'S KIELBASA STEW 
Using a large pot, pour in one large can of tomatoes, including the liquid. Add an additional can of water and bring to a boil. Choose as many different fresh vegetables as you like, using as much or little of each as desired. It's best to include onions, carrots and broccoli in particular. Add approximately one cup of barley and cook approximately 40 minutes. Add kielbasa and continue cooking until it is thoroughly hot. Serve with Italian bread or rolls.
