FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. or 1 (#303) can fruit cocktail 1/4 c. cooking oil Mix. Put in 9x12 pan and top with 1/2 cup brown sugar, coconut and nuts. Bake 1 hour. SAUCE: 1/4 lb. butter 3/4 c. white sugar 1/2 c. canned milk Combine ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Serve over warm cake. |
