CHOCOLATE NUT PIE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white syrup
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts
2 tbsp. bourbon

Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Add beaten eggs, syrup, salt and vanilla. Add chocolate chips, nuts and bourbon and stir until well mixed. Pour into pie crust and bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. If crust browns too rapidly, cover with foil. Rewarm to serve.
