SCRUMPTIOUS BROWNIES 
1 pkg. (8 squares) unsweetened chocolate
1 c. butter
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly, (or heat chocolate and butter at high power in non-metal bowl in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minutes; then stir until melted and smooth.) Cool slightly. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl on high speed for 10 minutes. Blend in chocolate mixture on low speed. Add flour, beating just to blend. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. (Do not overbake.) Cool in pan; then cut into squares. Makes 32 brownies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
