FIVE HOUR STEW 
2 lb. round steak
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with cheese
1 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lg. potatoes, cut in eighths
6 carrots, cut into 1" pieces
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 med. size green pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
1 slice white bread, cubed

Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven. Bake tightly covered for five hours at 250 degrees. Stir once or twice during cooking. Serves six.
