SHERRY TRIFLE 
1 white sponge cake
1 sm. box gelatin (flavor to compliment fruit)
Water
1/4 c. sweet sherry
1 lg. box vanilla pudding
1 pt. whipped cream
1 c. fruit (strawberries, raspberries, peaches)

Slice cake and place in bottom of a large clear glass bowl. Make gelatin as directed on box using water with 1/2 of sherry. Chill slightly. Sprinkle remaining sherry over cake. Top with fruit. Chill until set. Spread cooled pudding over fruit. Spoon whipped cream on top and serve.
