EASY CHOCOLATE SPONGE 
1 tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/4 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs

Dissolve gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Add boiling water. Add sugar, cocoa, salt, vanilla. Then add egg yolks. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Chill. Serves 4.
