ZUCCHINI PIE (Kolokithopeta) 
5 c. shredded zucchini
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
10 eggs
2 tbsp. cream of wheat
2 tsp. vanilla
18 fila
1 c. melted butter (for buttering fila)

Peel zucchini, shred, place in strainer and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt and let drain for 2 hours. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs and sugar; beat together. Add zucchini, milk, vanilla, cream of wheat and 2 tablespoons butter. Mix thoroughly.

In a greased pan, about 17 x 11 x 2 inches, arrange 7 fila, brushing each with melted butter. Pour 1/4 of mixture, then place 1 more filo and brush with butter. Repeat this 3 more times until mixture is gone. Top with 7 more fila, brushing each with butter. Fold in edge to seal top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Peta will shake free from pan when done.
