CUSTARD PIE 
4 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
nutmeg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. scalded milk

Blend all ingredients well. Gradually stir in scalded milk. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

Bake 15 minutes at 400°F. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake 15 additional minutes.
